Booked count vs. actual count
Checkinea files two reports with SES (see RH, PV, and "Police report"):
- RH — Booking report. Filed when the booking is created, with the number of guests you expect (the booking's guest count).
- PV — Traveler report. Filed at check-in, with the travelers who actually arrived and registered.
If someone doesn't show up, the two numbers differ. That is normal and accepted: SES doesn't cross-check them, and there is nothing to amend. The booking page shows the checked-in / booked count (for example 6/7) so you can see the difference at a glance.
Once the RH has been filed, the booked guest count is locked. You don't need to change it.
More guests than booked
If more people arrive than you booked, they simply check in with their own details. The PV reports everyone who checked in.
Children under 14
- Guests aged 14 and over must provide an identity document.
- Guests under 14 don't need one.
In the check-in form, enter the date of birth first. Once it shows an age under 14, the document fields disappear. For minors, the form also asks for the relationship to the accompanying adult.
