What SES Hospedajes is

SES Hospedajes is the Spanish Ministerio del Interior's platform for the mandatory guest-registration reports short-term rentals and other accommodation must file, under RD 933/2021. Checkinea files these reports on your behalf once you connect your SES credentials — this article covers getting and connecting them. Registering and getting your codes

You register once, on the SES Hospedajes portal (hospedajes.ses.mir.es), using your NIE/NIF:

1. Create your portal account with your NIE/NIF and personal details.
2. Add each property under "Mis establecimientos" — you'll need its address and establishment type.
3. Note your arrendador code — once registered, the portal assigns you a "código de arrendador" (up to 10 characters). This identifies you as the landlord/host account-wide.
4. Request web-service credentials — in the portal, go to "Servicio web" and request a username and password for the web-service API. These are separate from your normal portal login.
5. Enable automatic sending — in the portal, turn on "Envío de comunicaciones por servicio web" for each establishment you want Checkinea to report automatically.

Where each value goes in Checkinea

SES has two kinds of identifiers, and they go in two different places:

• Arrendador code + web-service username/password are account-wide — set them once in Settings → SES credentials. Every property in your account shares them.
• Establishment code (código de establecimiento) is per property — set it on that property's Police/SES tab, under "Establishment registration". Leave it blank if you haven't registered that property with SES yet.

Testing the connection

Once your account-wide credentials are saved, the SES credentials page in Settings shows a Test connection button. It makes a read-only, authenticated call to SES to confirm the username and password work, without filing anything — use it after saving new credentials or if reports start failing.

Auto-filing

Auto-filing is controlled account-wide in Settings, with an optional per-property override on that property's Police tab:

• Account-wide default — on or off for every property that doesn't override it.
• Per-property override — each property's Police tab lets you force auto-filing always on or always off for that property specifically, regardless of the account default, or leave it set to "Use account default" to just follow whatever the account-wide toggle says.

This lets you, for example, turn auto-filing on for most properties while keeping a specific one manual (or vice versa) without changing the account-wide setting.
